Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

As a Foodie you are always on the lookout for a recipe no matter where you find it. I found one on the side of a Baker’s Corner All-Purpose Flour bag for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. This is the ingredients for the cookies:

1 ½ Cups Packed Brown Sugar
1 Cup Butter, Softened
1Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Large Egg
2 Cups Quick-cooking oats
1 ½ Cups Baker’s Corner All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Along with these items from home:
Large Bowl
Bowl
Rubber Spatula
Cookie Sheet
Spoon

Preheat oven to 350°.

Then in the large bowl mix the brown sugar and butter until blended.

Then in the other bowl mix the egg and vanilla extract and add to the butter and brown sugar.

Add the oats, flour and baking soda to the mixture and blend in.

Add chocolate chips and mix.

On an ungreased cookie sheet place spoon full of the dough.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool.

Serve.

Enjoy.

Majority of the ingredients I already had in the kitchen, so all I had to buy was the Flour ($1.65), Brown Sugar ($1.06) and Eggs ($1.39) bring the total to $4.10.
